Working in this
city for 4 days was so fantastic. Eastern part of Indonesia has their own
uniqueness that makes everything was so incredible.
PT Perikanan
Nusantara (Persero), was appointed as a pilot project for implementing the
Minister Regulation related to the Human Rights Certification in the Fishing
Industry. We conducted an audit in order to find earlier detection and
supposedly received feedback for this human right certification in the
fishing industry. The criteria according to that regulation are human rights policy,
due diligence, and remedy, working health and safety (K3), crew recruitment, employment,
community development, environment, land acquisition, and security.
Going to Ambon,
never forget to visit Natsepa, located in the village of Suli at Salahutu
District of Cental Maluku Regency, 18 km from center of Ambon city. Enjoying
Rujak Natsepa and coconut while discussing about the history, community,
culture in Maluku with our team from capture fisheries, fish product
competitiveness, FIHRRST, and Perinus as well.
Major Anugerah, who
worked as a commander of the marine security unit (Satuan Keamanan Laut/Satkamla), Naval Base IX Ambon
(Pangkalan Utama TNI-AL Ambon) took us around to Merah Putih Bridge, connecting
Rumah Tiga Village (Poka) in Sirimau sub-district on the north side, with
Hative Kecil/Galala village in Teluk Ambon sub-district on the south side. For
sure, we’re visiting the naval base (I’ve passed it before but now I’m inside,
how amazing!). We saw several Navy ships and his working space in Satkamla. Unfortunately, it
has been night there, we enjoyed the cold weather in Lantamal.
If we go to Ambon,
don’t forget to eat at Lateri (President Jokowi and His Working Cabinets always have a culinary here when they are in Ambon). “Dada tuna bakar rica-rica” was one of the favorite
food there. Try some, and trust me you will eat again and again :p
